How to Choose Your Outfit in a Glimpse

How to Choose Your Outfit in a Glimpse

Hi guys, how are you doing? I hope you are doing real good! From all of this outfit preview can you guess something? Well, I was in a hurry to get ready, so i only have a little time to choose everything from head to toe. With this look i went to "The Hook" at Senopati with my friends. It’s a seafood restaurant in Jakarta serving no meat such as chicken beef and pork. One thing that is unique and special is that they serve ribs taken out of fish. I really enjoyed all the foods here and it’s one of the recommended restaurant.

Back to the initial topic. In this post i want to tell you the easy way to mix and match everything and of course how to choose your outfit of the day swiftly.
Firstly, as i said before in my previous blogpost, Black and white is the easiest colours to mix and match. However, you can also have one neutral colour and combined it with any colour you want and never go wrong with it! Neutral colour is like your best friend. Eg of neutral colours are black, white, denim, gray and others.

Secondly, you should focus on one thing; top/short. Eg: i want to focus on this white t-shirt like in the photo above. Then you can wear things such as a skirt, jeans, shorts or anything for the bottom. You can pick what you want to wear and suits it with anything good.

Next, See the model of the bottom or top. If the top is baggy, then you can choose something slim for the bottom. This is the safest way to wear it! As you can see my top is kinda long with a triangle shape in it, so it’s baggier at the bottom. Which means that i shouldn’t wear it with hot pants, since it will make me look like I’m not wearing any pants, so i prefer to go with a skinny jeans or skirt. Choose what style you want, in my case i want to go for a bit more feminine look, so i chose to wear a black flare skirt to make it look like a dress!

And last but not least, if you feel that black and white is too plain for you, try adding some colour in your accessory or your shoes just like what I did. I have chosen a green necklace to brighten up my outfit and since the green colour really pops out i chose something darker for my shoes. A maroon colour for my flat shoes that I bought from Bonia enhance the look too. To end it all up i wore a black small sling bag from Zara.

Well that’s all the tips for what to wear when you are in a hurry! You can always use this cheat for a quick get up. One more secret, it’s not about the colour or the model of the shirt, if you feel good in it and it suits you, then go for it! ; )

Suiting with Biker Legging

Suiting with Biker Legging

Hello, this is my first post for November, these photo shoot was taken in Kemang. I had a late brunch here with good ambience.

That day, i'm wearing my comfortable ripped legging with a black clutch. The Biker legging is really wearable even if i'm going to anywhere to any places. Both the legging and clutch can be paired with anything from sweater, T-shirt or crop top. Another thing that i love is the clutch which shows a little characteristic of myself!

To pull this outfit i'm wearing a shiny pink shirt and a pink bracelet to keep the color balance. Nonetheless, i'm also wearing a round necklace that has always been my favorite.
Hope you guys can be inspired by this outfit.

Summer Breeze

Summer Breeze

This totally has to be my favorite blog post so far because I can't even stop grinning when I'm writing this post #YASSS. This by far the most adventurous, daring, random and loveliest trip I had so far because we got lost! Yes LOST, to and from. 3 kids with GPS gone very wrong. Waze is not much of help and so does Google maps. Or was I too dumb to read maps I had no idea.

Despite of everything, time wasted with your best 'people' is never a waste right? It's actually our first trip together, with just the 3 of us. Finally! It's too memorable to be described with words. Well it wasn't those fancy holidays to Europe or whatsoever but what's more important is not where you're going, but whom you're going with.

When I first arrived, I was totally impressed beyond my expectations due to people saying that the place wasn't really that pretty. But hey! The seven shades of clear blue water with that pretty sky will truly melt your heart, the perfect ambience to just sit still and contemplate on how amazing God's creations are. Absolutely relaxing! To top it all, they had an infinity pool.

Moving on, I didn't really want to post it on my blog but it will be a total waste not to share this with you, right? My #ootd is quite a simple outfit really with just a simple white tank, shorts and a big shades, not forgetting a pair of good old white sandals (you can never go wrong with this).

That was it then. See you on my next post guys! xx

Sunday Outfit

Sunday Outfit

To start off, I actually don't have any idea on what to write for this post. It's those typical Sunday where you worship God, have a quality lunch and just catch up with your extended families, then just chill for the rest of the day. Who doesn't love Sunday?

Personally, I've always loved B&W. It's like everyone's 911 when you're too tired to search thru your messy wardrobe. It's the color that won't go wrong with anything you put on. Moreover, the color somehow portray a strong character. As for my outfit, I pair my high-neck monochrome top with a simple black high-waisted pants without any accessorize because I felt that my top's block pattern is already on-point.

Hope you love this post and may your day go as delightful as mine. Stay tuned for the next post ;)

Stripes & Denim

Stripes & Denim

Hi guys, I am back. I know it has been more than a week since my last post due to my endless to-dos! It's been a hectic yet productive month for me. Oh and unfortunately, this photo was not taken in Bali :(

I wore this look for a few times already and recently to HYPE Bazar .It's definitely effortless to pull off where you only need your favorite Sweater, a skirt and comfy sandals and voila! You're ready to take the world, yes?

Not a while ago, I attended a Blogger Babes event from Clozette that was held in Intercontinental Hotel. This event actually talks about the world of blogging for starters. As I am such a baby in this thing, I decided to go and expand my knowledge about blogging. The information I received was definitely helpful & the event was a massive success. After the event, we snuck to the hotel's pool, which is stunning, and I kinda felt that this place doesn't look like the typical Jakarta hotel you know. I'm totally in love with it! After the countless photo session I left for my friend's graduation. Basically, it's one of those days that went by so well..

Hope you love this post and may your day go as delightful as mine. Stay tuned for the next post ;)

Dinner Party outfit

Dinner Party outfit

Its the end of September and here's the last look to close this September perfectly.
I usually wear more than 2 colors in my outfit. Especially in this outfit i played with a red top and blue glitter heels, adding some neutral color for both my pants and clutch with a soft pink bracelet and necklace to add a bit more fun to the look. I'm wearing this outfit to a formal dinner party. This is one of my favorite look since it is fun and classy. You can use this look to go to party or a formal dinner.

Red Shoes

Red Shoes

I know what you think about (those) shoes but nope it is not the Nike Air max 90 Independence Day although i want it really bad, I couldn't get it. Its only fitted for men. Hence, my friend got me the custom made Nike Airmax 90 *GS and painted it full red. Well, I still wished it could cope that Air max 90 Independence day but sadly reality does not allow it.
Hence, thats all about that shoes story, hope you like this looks ;)

Borrowed from the boys

Borrowed from the boys

Its kinda hard to take these pic while there is a lot of people. Being a fashion blogger forced me to pose even though people are staring at you with funny look on their faces. Lesson learnt be bold or you won't get any picture at all.

I stole this sweater from my cousin to finalize my masculine and chic style, I combining it with a feminime peplum skirt and bracelet. For the Bag it has a touch of both feminime and masculine elements. The shape of the bag keeps it feminime but the small circle stud makes it more masculine. Lastly, I added a pop of color by using my orange flatshoes to lift up the whole look.

Harem Pants

Harem Pants

When you're a student, the craziest thing anyone could ever ask for was the tons of assignments piling up week after another...'the never ending cycle'. All that we wanted was to fast-forward to the end and then find the perfect job we all dreamed of. Well, I totally have no idea the struggle after is even worst. When reality strikes, I got so lost that I don't even know what I want to do for a living.

Thankfully, I am surrounded with many people that really supports and motivates me to move on with my life. As a result, this idea came up to start blogging, which I really love. So yeah, from this look I know I should totally iron my skirt (crumpled much?), but due to the lousy time management that causes me in a hurry I decided to just go on. I'm wearing a plain blue shirt, which are super comfortable and match it with a printed harem pants. To make this look less casual I add it with a pair of strappy heel. Personally, this is the look I wanted to rock on a daily basis. Stay tuned for the next post guys!
